Training schools - Auswest Seeds professionalism extends to running training schools for seed retailers agronomists and sales staff. These schools are run in association with major seed companies and include both the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) and NSWAG researchers and agronomists as guest speakers.
Participants are provided basic training and the latest trends in pasture establishments together with varietal information on recently released and yet to be released cultivars. Updates on pulse and cereal varieties are also provided.
Training manuals - This comprehensive manual produced for retailers, is a reference of all current varieties together with information on seed treatments, sowing techniques and pasture management aids. It is updated regularly to ensure customers are kept abrest of new developments.
Auswest Seeds also has put together a comprehensive lawn and turf manual. To assist resellers in managaement and sowing techniques for lawn and turf.
Demonstration blocks - Auswest Seeds demonstration blocks to allow seed sales staff and end users to become familiar with new strategies. This is done in conjunction with seed retailers and NSWAG to ensure a balanced presentation of information. Local farmers are invited to attend field days at these sites, thus providing relevant information to end users.
Field Days - In association with its key suppliers, each year Auswest Seeds has pasture displays at major national and regional field days. These are attended by farmers from across many regions and so require a varied display with information available on all pasture varieties.
